Pool Rules
Pool Hours - 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Lifeguard Hours - 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Admission to the pool is limited to members in good standing, their families and guest of their families.
- Guest must be accompanied by a member (Maximum of 2 guests per family). Members are fully responsible for their guests.
- All children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by an adult or by a babysitter (14 years of age or older). Unescorted children under 10 years of age will be asked to leave the pool area immediately. Each adult or babysitter accompanying a child under 10 years of age shall be responsible for the conduct and supervision of such child.
- Cobb County Health Regulation require that the main pool gate remain closed at all times and not blocked open for the health, safety and welfare of the residents. Propping open the gate will result in the homeowner's suspension of pool privileges.
- No pets except service animals, are allowed in the pool area.
- No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, or other similar equipment are allowed in the pool area.
- No food, gum or glass containers permitted inside the fenced pool area.
- No smoking or chewing tobacco inside fenced pool area.
- No diving in shallow water less than 5 feet.
- No running or horseplay allowed in the pool area. Horseplay includes, but should not be limited to, running, shoving, dunking, or jumping off the lifeguard stand.
- No hanging off of diving board or rope.
- No shorts or cut-offs, only proper swimming attire allowed while in the water.
- Pool air mattresses/rafts, swim fins, masks and other accessories shall be allowed when their use does not interfere with other swimmers. Size limit of air mattresses/rafts is 3 feet by 6 feet. No flotation devices are allowed in the deep end.
- Personal conduct in the pool and restrooms must not jeopardize the safety of individuals or others.
- Damage to club property including trees and shrubbery is not permitted. Any member/guest causing such damage will be held personally responsible.
- Underage alcohol consumption or possession is prohibited on the Saddlebrook amenity areas.
- All children three years old and younger and person who are not toilet trained or who are incontinent must wear swim diapers or rubber pants over a diaper. Regular diapers that are not reinforced for swim purposes are not allowed inside the pool. Do not dispose of soiled diapers in the pool area.
- No child will be permitted in the deep water (diving well) section of the pool unaccompanied by an adult unless he or she can demonstrate his/her ability to tread water for at least 60 seconds and swim one length of the pool (see lifeguard).
- The pool is designed to be a family oriented area. No sexually implicit or explicit acts or gestures are permitted.
- Profanity, improper behavior and vulgarity are prohibited.
- The pool may be closed for maintenance purposes, health conditions, weather, or any other reason deemed sufficient by the pool manager and committee.
- Once every hour, the life guard will take a break for approximately 10 minutes. During this break the pool shall be available for adult swimmers eighteen or older. Adults at this time should swim at their own risk.
- All members and guest are expected to respect the lifeguard's authority and direction. During "Swim At Your Own Risk' and when lifeguard guard is on duty, members have the authority and responsibility to personally enforce pool rules and/or communicate violations to Pool Committee members.
- Anyone may be expelled at any time for failure to follow pool rules. Expelled individuals may not return to the pool area for a minimum of one full day. If a resident under the age of eighteen (18) is expelled, a Pool Committee member, or a Saddlebrook board member will notify the parent. If a non resident under the age of eighteen (18) is expelled from the pool he/she may not return without the authorization from the Saddlebrook Board of Directors. The lifeguards, Pool Committee members, or Advisory Board members have the authority to expel anyone. Repeated misbehavior may result in an indefinite suspension.
VIOLATIONS OF THE ABOVE RULES MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE POOL
